Very nice Chinese food in Taupo! I absolutely loved their Yu Xiang Shredded Pork (鱼香肉丝） and Spicy & Sour Shredded Potatoes （酸辣土豆丝） — so flavorful and authentic! The dishes reminded me of real home-style Chinese cooking. The portion sizes were perfect, and the balance of spices was just right. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're craving proper Chinese food! 我的陶波中餐食堂

We ordered the shredded pork and black pepper beef. Both dishes paired very well with rice. The shredded pork and beef were very tender. From the taste, presentation, and knife skills, it is clear that the chef’s cooking techniques are authentically Chinese

Highly recommend Food is fresh and has great portions Not full of msg/ not overseasoned Not your regular smorgasbord chinese. Much of the menu is authentic, and the food I grew up on. Will definitely be back.

One of the best Chinese food I’ve had in NZ. Food is fresh, and delicious. My family and I were visiting Taupo. We had 4 meals there, and had no issues. Amazing service and friendly staff. Good variety of food selection. Portion is generous. We will definitely visit again if we are in Taupo!

I found this restaurant on Google and it turned out to be a really satisfying meal — especially for a Chinese traveler looking for familiar flavors. I enjoyed it so much that I only realized afterwards I forgot to take any photos. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

So far this is the best Chinese restaurant I had in New Zealand. It has a wide menu and the foods were delicious. The black pepper beef was tender and yummy . The mapo tofu and long beans tasted really good. Ingredients were fresh and service was friendly
